Hearty and serene, from the ground to the body

Cultivate the body and soul

Integrating permacultural ideas is an important part of Clayfingers. The gardens at Clayfingers were not cultivated or irrigated in an invasive or destructive way; we simply guided its natural growth, letting the local flora and fauna flourish, occasionally introducing new plants and animals in a careful and controlled way. We find beauty and harmony in a more natural and free flowing way of life. This serenity brings us closer to the Earth, and closer to our work as artists.

Our food is also cooked using a mix of locally sourced ingredients and produce from our gardens. The menu for the day is chosen to enrich and rejuvenate the mind and body, using what is in season to create healthy, traditional Kerala meals for you to enjoy.
